Information you choose to share

Forms collect your name, email and business type, plus an optional website address and business message. Proposal enquiries include your chosen package and priority. Do not include pupil information or sensitive records.

Assessment answers remain in page memory until refresh or restart. We do not use browser persistence. If you request a results email or a conversation, answers are sent securely and scores recalculated server-side. We do not fetch submitted website addresses.

How information is used

Requested results go to your email address. Only an explicit proposal or discussion request is sent to Alan as an enquiry, followed by an acknowledgement. Requesting results does not create a sales enquiry or marketing subscription. No marketing lists are created by these forms.

We use your details to fulfil your request and, where relevant, take steps at your request before a contract. Security processing protects the service from spam and abuse.

Processors and security records

Cloudflare hosts the website in the Abneos account. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for spam. Resend delivers transactional messages. These providers process technical and delivery information according to their service arrangements; processing may involve international transfers.

We do not store raw assessment answers in a website database. Requested emails contain scores and selected priorities; discussion emails also contain the business details you submit. Website security records contain request identifiers, hashed fingerprints and hourly salted IP hashes, not raw answers or email addresses. Rate-limit records expire after one hour; idempotency records after 24 hours. Expired records are removed on the next submission, so physical deletion can be later if there are no subsequent requests.

Correspondence and retention

Requested messages are processed by Resend and enquiry correspondence is retained in Alan’s mailbox to deal with your request. You can ask Alan to delete correspondence when it is no longer needed. Contractual and legal recordkeeping can require retention. Provider logs and backups follow the providers’ retention arrangements. A fixed mailbox deletion schedule has not yet been established.

Cookies, analytics and your rights

This release adds no analytics or advertising cookies. We keep anonymous daily totals for assessment starts and completions, successful results-email requests, submitted consultation/proposal requests and form use or failure. Only the event name is sent; no answers, email, website, page address or visitor identifier is included in the analytics payload. Event totals are retained for 90 days and removed on the next event after expiry. Hourly salted IP hashes are processed separately for abuse prevention, never attached to these aggregate totals. Turnstile and hosting providers process technical information for security and service operation. Your answers, email and website are not placed in URLs, public metadata or structured data.

Contact Alan to ask about access, correction, deletion, objection or restriction, as applicable. You may complain to your relevant data protection authority. We may need to retain records where required by law.
